Here at The Animal Hospital we are proud of our facilities and pleased to say we have a wide range of diagnostic equipment:

Blood Analyser – used to give results rapidly in emergency cases.

X-ray Machine – used to diagnose fractures, bone disease and soft tissue injury.

Ultrasound Machine – more commonly used to detect pregnancy but also used for heart and abdominal investigations.

ECG –  a heart monitoring device.

Microscope  – used to examine blood cells and skin conditions (such as mange to identify mites)

Dental Machine – for  routine descaling and polishing of teeth as well as extractions if needed. Unfortunately an anaesthetic is needed as our patients are unlikely to lie still.

Urine Tests –  urine analysis available in house.
